Motivation for the Nation.... The Death of Procrastination

Everyone's revising! Well not everyone, I finished my exams at the start of May, lucky I know. But the majority of the nations students are in the thick of it. The business end of the year. Time to 'shake and bake'. Do you fall into this category? If so I would suggest you keep reading, as Chambré is about to boost your productivity better than a Yakult will boost your immune system. Bold shout I know. Revision tips are so last century, cue cards, mind maps, lists and all the rest of it. Yes, you should still do that but today I'm going to focus on motivation. Posts about tips have swamped the internet, so if you don't know how to go about revision by now, you are major struggs.

Witty

So you're a chronic procrastinator, telling everyone how you're actually just having a break every time you flick screens to facebook or twitter naughty. Well lets face it, if you're reading this, your probably procrastinating, although this is allowed. What I propose is a musical remedy. Remedy is a strong word actually, maybe a musical motivational mash up is more appropriate. Below you will find 3 songs that will help motivate you to revise. In a more colloquial understanding, you will be 'buzzing your tits off, chomping at the bit to nail that revision'. Then when your mind drifts from revision, refer back to the songs for replenished motivation aka Chomping at the bitness. Easy. Thank me later.

And if you're reading this on your phone or potentially your ipad, the videos won't work. This blog is so technically able, that unfortunately this is the case. I apologise. But YouTube the songs! Please.

Ok, first song. This song is lyrically awful. The video is awful and the dancing isn't great. But stick it all together and for some reason, this song is actually really good. You need to listen to it a few times to appreciate it's true motivational values. And it will probably have you up and dancing your way around the house. If it doesn't, my bad, maybe it's not the song, maybe it's just you!

Fuse - Antenna

Good wasn't it. You're allowed to press the replay button, no-one will ever know! Although I'm still trying to suss out the lyrics! Next song then. Probably could not be more different to Fuse's African vibes. BUT SHE SPEND MY MONEY OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH. Sorry got carried away singing. If emotional motivation is more your thing then this is perfect. The song slowly builds in to some sort of angry rage that leaves you feeling pumped. Well played Tom. And there's a bit of eye candy for that 'added value' (that counts as revision, if your revising business studies).

Tom Odell - Another Love

Ok, so we've got time for one more motivator. This Tune is ridiculously good and to be honest, you've probably heard it already, but it's worth another play! The principle in this song is to ignore all annoying things... la la laaaaaaaaaaaa. So for that impossible maths some or insane amount of quotes you're trying to learn, just play this.

Naughty Boy - La La La

Chambré's tunes have well and truly struck. Not only flouting my diverse taste in music, you should now feel G'd up to crack on with that revision! Yep, I'm afraid it's back to work for you. Winners don't quit and all that mumbo jumbo. Short term pain, long term gain.

Good Luck!
